Many moons ago, when we still lived in Harp Cottage – so pre 2014, as that’s when it became our holiday let until 2020;  I found the sofa of my dreams.  Draped in vintage linen and hemp sheets, it resided in my friend’s Marina’s house.

Marina’s house is a treasure trove of amazing wonders from her life as an antiques dealer.  And the sofa was one of her auction finds.  A Georgian sofa in it’s original covers now updated with loose covers  and sheepskin throws, it exuded comfort and beauty.

It was the one.

Knowing I wouldn’t find another, Marina suggested getting a copy made.

The seed was sown.
